Two minutes of fame and more at Summit.Live 2017

From February 22–24, 2017, Rightside will be attending Summit.Live in Los Angeles, the annual event that brings together the entire live content creator community to talk about the art and business of streaming online. The event also coincides with our announcement yesterday morning that .LIVE has officially become Rightside’s most registered domain extension to date, both in Premium domains and overall.

The size, exposure, and brand presence of Summit.Live has continued to grow since last year, and our own .LIVE evangelist, Marc Gawith, will again be attending to connect with the movers and shakers in live streaming. We’ll be meeting with old friends like Ryan Bell, Joel Comm, and Mitch Jackson, to the hundreds of vloggers, streamers, and entertainment industry representatives in attendance.

From 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM on the 23rd, Marc will also be hosting a talk with Will Jamieson of Stream titled “Owning and controlling your live content!” They’ll be discussing the difference between promoting your brand versus the brand of your streaming platform, and how .LIVE domains can be an effective solution to content creators, whether they’re seasoned veterans, or new to the community.

One of the most unique events at this year’s Summit.Live is the afterparty at 7 PM on February 23rd at The Theater at Ace Hotel. 2 Minute Studio (found, conveniently, at 2Minute.studio) will give the first 50 attendees two minutes of time on stage to “pitch, recite, bring the funny, sing, motivate, dance” pretty much anything they want. One way to get a ticket to this incredibly fun get-together is by registering a domain name ahead of the party.

See our full press release to find out more about Summit.Live, and the momentum that’s built behind the .LIVE gTLD. If you can’t make it to the event this year, but want to get a glimpse, head to Summit.Live starting on the 22nd to see select panels streamed online.
